A Scandinavian heart. A Kauaʻi soul.
I was born and raised in Skødstrup, Denmark, where I learned to appreciate simplicity, thoughtful design, and the beauty of less.
When I was 10 years old, after watching Blue Hawaii, I told my mom that one day I would live in Hawaiʻi. Nine years later, I arrived on Kauaʻi — a place that would become my home.
In 1998, I began planning weddings, combining my Scandinavian eye for detail and organization with my love for the natural beauty and relaxed spirit of Kauaʻi. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping more than 1,000 couples celebrate their love on this island I call home.
My approach is simple: create weddings that feel authentic, effortless, and meaningful. I believe the most beautiful celebrations are not about having more — they are about thoughtful details, genuine connection, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
I have always been drawn to simplicity and organization. Whether I'm designing a wedding, creating art, or transforming a space, I love bringing beauty and intention to the details.
When I'm not planning weddings, you'll often find me painting, making jewelry, hiking, practicing yoga, or enjoying a cappuccino with Bossa Nova playing in the background.
I share my life on Kauaʻi with my husband, photographer Gelston Dwight, and our children, Malina and Makai.
